You'll have time to write two pieces (in any genre you'd like) inspired by paintings and prompts. You'll also learn about websites you can explore to find artistic inspiration in the future!

LIVING ROOM THEATRE: WRITING AND STAGING PLAYS AT HOME

In this workshop, we will write and stage plays quarantine-style for performance in our own homes. Participants will read short excerpts of hybrid theatrical texts, craft scenes based on provided prompts, and brainstorm possibilities for staging their creations at home. The workshop includes guiding questions for amateur and experienced dramaturgs on play anatomy and what it means to perform.
